Joe Camicia

Hi, I'm Joe Camicia. I run a ferocious little consulting practice that crafts and delivers persuasive messages in politics, business and government.

I have always been drawn to high-profile, competitive projects. After years of serving constituents as an elected and appointed official and as an officer of a large corporation, I now operate Camicia & Company LLC, a ferocious little consulting practice that crafts and delivers persuasive messages in politics, business and government. Over the years I have seen the interaction between business, government, constituents and customers from a variety of perspectives; operations, marketing/PR, legislative, regulatory and always political. I like to think that I've learned a few things along the way and that my experience at all levels of government and business gives me the tools to effectively resolve difficult, challenging problems. Along with me I bring a team of experts in polling, publicity, video production, SEO, social media, IT and the law. Together we can meet most any challenge. In many ways I am the sum of those people I have worked for and with-- As a kid my first bosses in life were with The Oakland Raiders where I worked for Al Davis, John Madden and Ron Wolf. They taught me about focus, preparation and loyalty. I learned so much from the late Tony Tiano at KQED I could never repay him. He showed me how to motivate staff and the good that comes when everyone shares in the success of an organization. At Crown Media I reported to Rod Thole who was the hardest worker I've ever met and a man of uncompromising integrity. I try everyday to be more like him. Maggie Bellville, Tom Schaeffer and Dave Andersen are all smart, honest people who effectively and efficiently ran Charter Communications in the face of considerable adversity. I wish I still worked for/with them. I hope even a small part of those described above, make up who I am. Specialties: Political strategy, public relations, direct media, management, issue development/advocacy and negotiation. Follow me on Twitter: @CamiciaLLC
